Roles and Responsibilities
Dinner Service (7:30-10:00 p.m.; 8 people needed): Coordinate the meal and prepare it for our guests. The number of guests could vary between 40 & 70 people. Also responsible for making lunches, doing dishes & cleaning kitchen.
Registration (7:30-11:00 p.m.; 3 people needed): Responsibilities include: checking IDs and signing in our guests. It is important to be inviting to our guests and make them feel welcome.
Security (7:30-11:00 p.m.; 4 people needed): Responsibilities include: helping to check in guests, checking bags, and helping to keep the peace during the evening.
Give Away Room and Blanket Distribution (7:30-10:00 p.m.; 4 people needed): Two volunteers in the blanket room will distribute mats/blankets/pillows.
Two volunteers in the giveaway room, which opens at 9:30 p.m.
Overnight Stay Help (10 p.m.-7 a.m. the following morning; 3 people needed): A minimum of 2 men and 1 woman are needed to stay at the church overnight. Responsibilities include: periodically checking restrooms and hallways. Mainly stationed in the kitchen. Must STAY AWAKE!
Breakfast Service (5-7:00 a.m.; 3 people needed):
Responsible for preparing coffee, setting up cereal, helping Night Crew with blanket/mat return, passing out lunches, and kitchen clean up. Please help ensure all guests leave the building by 7 a.m.
Morning Clean Up Crew (9-11:00 a.m.; 2 people needed): Responsibilities include: cleaning the three bathrooms, as well as sweeping and wet mopping Fellowship Hall, the kitchen, and the hallway.
Washing Pillowcases (1 person needed): Responsible for picking up and washing the dirty pillowcases each day. Best time for pick up or drop off is before 7 a.m. or between 8 & 9 p.m. daily.
Groups wishing to be responsible for a complete night will have experienced assistance available onsite.
Service: Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
