Emmanuel Bethel Church Second Mile Committee
The Second Mile Committee is committed to showing God’s love by lending a helping hand to those in a time of need; be it a time of grief, a time of illness, a time of financial need, or just a time when we can show someone we care.
Some of the ways we can lend a helping hand are by arranging rides to church, doctor’s appointments, shopping, etc. We also provide meals taken to people's homes, grief booklet series sent to families during the year following the death of a loved one, greeting cards and flowers. We supply Pastor Wood with bus tickets for those in need, Meijers gift cards for help with groceries and gas, and gift cards for meals at fast food restaurants.
